Purpose of the position:

Management of the TMM Supply Chain activities, supporting Gas procurement within the TMM function based on site at customer, Dalian, China


Planning & Procurement are key roles in the Supply Chain organisation and is the link between our internal and external sources of supply and our local operations and customers. Main critical link between the Dalian customer, and the Linde “Centre of excellence” in Dublin, Ireland.


The Planning & Procurement Lead role will therefore be to establish and manage effective supply chain planning for products travelling within the supply chain and establishing best practice. The title holder will develop procedures and establish contacts with both the customer and OEM to enhance TMM operations.


The title holder will operate in a dynamic fast paced pressurised environment and will be responsible to drive continuous Improvement.

To make sure all business action and strategy in align with Linde Group Value, Safety and Quality related policies and in accordance with local government laws and regulations.


Principal responsibilities:

— Perform Daily reporting to onsite customers on the inventory position of the offsite warehouses.

— Manage SAP system to ensure Orders are placed to ensure continuity of Supply of product to meet the stocking expectations locally.

— Communicate on a daily basis with Centre of excellence in Ireland, to ensure a seamless logistics chain from OEM to POU at customers premise

— Analyze all requests to place new orders ensuring forecast versus usage is in line and place on Forecast Clarification Log if not in synch,

— Manage and lead weekly Meetings with the customer such as the weekly Below Min meeting.

— Manage and report Supplier Performance.

— Own and drive Quarterly Management meetings with customer regarding Planning and Procurement Services.

— Drive Monthly Financial Reconciliation with the Customer for all TMM Services.

— Drive Management of Product Master Profiles ensuring all stakeholders align before implementation.

— Own and drive Onhold/Quarantined material and drive action plan.

— Manage non performing stocking profiles and propose shipping schedules required to regain Minimum Stocking levels.

— Manage Product Transitional Planning.

— Manage ontime deliveries (incoming and outgoing) to offsite warehouses.

— Manage Forecasting process & highlight medium / high level concerns daily.

— Identify and manage economic ordering and return criteria for Product Logistics.

— Manage and drive key metrics to ensure Warehouse Providers adding value to the TMM service.

— Identify and drive non performing Product regarding their storage profile.

— Responsible for Ordering through SAP.

— Establish reliable and efficient supply routes for opportunities in new territories

— Obtain cost efficiencies through innovative approaches to logistics such as Consolidated shipping vs Direct Shipping.

— Coordinate activities with Freight Management Team.

— Record CIP and cost avoidance initiatives

— POC for all Planning related queries with the customer.

— Own, drive and develop TMM Planning Software to ensure that it meets the business needs and any upgrades are planned and project managed accordingly.

— Local production consumable material purchasing

— Local vendor sourcing and management


Required qualifications/experience:

— 3 – 5 years experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

— 5+ years Planning and Procurement experience in Supply Chain.

— Proficient ability to work with and design complex formulae within the Microsoft Excel Environment.
