Purpose of the position
Provide timely and accurate accounting & reporting service to ensure compliance with IFRS & PRC & legal requirement
Guide and process monthly and annual tax return to ensure tax compliance for business transaction treatment
Improve the processes within General Accounting
Make sure all business action and strategy in align with Linde Group Value, Safety and Quality related policies and in accordance with local government laws and regulations.
support HR&admin function work
1. Accounting & reporting:
Prepare manual journal entries according to approval matrix
Execute month end closing activities per SLA to delivery accurate accounting treatment for transactions, such as interco reconciliation, Capex, accruals, provisions, defer tax, cost allocation, etc.
Prepare group reporting package
Execute post close activities, such as control posting period for next month/year
Prepare statutory and statistical report per requirement
Perform BS review and account reconciliation to ensure accounting & reporting quality per requirement
2. Audit assistance & internal control management
Prepare audit documents per group audit/statutory/tax /internal audit requirement
Follow-up the external/internal audit issues within schedule
Ensure all transactions complied with Linde group financial policies and procedures and meets legal, statutory audit and internal controls requirements.
3. Tax returns & management
Monthly and annual tax return
Coordinate with local tax authorities on tax incentive application & document preparation.
Perform tax health check and tax saving planning under guidance
4 Process & performance improvement
Execute key interfaces of FI module with other functions
Identify continuous improvement opportunities in quality & efficiency and support implementation efforts across the team.
Assist area accounting supervisor in continuously improving general accounting processes focusing on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization.
Support SSC process improvement projects (including HPO roll-out).

Bachelor degree in accounting or finance major
General recognized accounting qualification will be preferred, such as CICPA or intermediate accountant, etc.
At least 5 years experience in accounting function with at 2 years above experience on general ledger
Solid accounting background on IFRS, PRC & tax.
Sound ERP system skills, such as SAP & LiFT
Advanced Excel skills and Proficient in basic math skills
Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese
